I have windowsXP pro sp2, did an uninstall of some program, and installed adobe reader 8, then chm files didn't work. thank's Johny! After a worthless hour-long chat session with my Computer Vendor's support (he recommended re-installing Windows XP) I decided the only recourse I had was to ignore the problem.
