I then reinstalled setuptools from the setuptools-0.6c11-py2.7.egg. Since this is a "new" project (as far as testpypi is concerned at least) it has no existing release or installation process. Because I need to use Python 2.7 for work, I created another user login and tried to re-setup my dev environment. Additionally, although it should work to use -i https://testpypi.python.org/simple apparently testpypi isn't creating the necessary links there.

But I think this is a complicated task and dangerous... How could I utilize its power other than running only on CPU mode? Why is the reduction by sugars more efficient in basic solutions than in acidic ones? Attempting to upgrade setuptools using `pip` fails because easy-install.pth is missing, despite the presentation of the conda-originating setuptools as an easy_install egg. Conda Setuptools Downloading and installing from local file works! Among the various mechanisms is a handler for zipfiles.
