My solution was: 1) go to Start/Settings/Printers and Faxes 2) right click the Canon MP 620 Printer and choose property 3) go to the Ports page (From the top menu), and I'm clueless on how to enable printing just through your router, sorry. The problem is that I can install the printer and the accesspoint finds the printer and is able to communicate with it.
After that, re-installed (There is an option to change connection method in the latest CD that Canon provided). The printed page will roll out with much crankling noise. I disconnect the network drive a couple of times, use "net use Y /d" to clear the Y drive completely, choose a different drive name, blah blah, all lead to failure.
