Something has gone horribly wrong with CoreMIDI. If it still doesn't work, the drivers in the MIDI drivers folder might be outdated.

If that solves the problem, go to the audio card and MIDI controller manufacturer's web sites to download and install the latest drivers for your hardware. Also tried trashing user/library/prefs/com.apple.audio.AudioMIDISetup.plist. Thank you. My friend is running the exact same programs and it all works fine in Tiger 10.4.11.

I fixed it all, I just had a midi driver that wasn't being used so I threw it i the trash and it cured my problems.
MIDI MONITOR FOR WINDOWS Some computers come with their own built in MIDI monitor program, but for those that don't (or if you are not sure how to use this program) This is a common problem and if you can see that more than one button is sending the same note then they will obviously be conflicting. Reason won't open except in Rewire mode. Checked the Avid website (Digi 002 and 003 Drivers) again.

Anyone know anything about this. If your controller is still not behaving correctly with a different computer, then it is possible that controller may be faulty.
