Can I just extract one drive, put it in a different enclosure and get the data off it? But. Tried to back up a few days ago, it wouldn't work so I put it away. I know that windows has a brilliant little program that does that (yikes, windows often has more and better app choices) and sends you an email about what it does every When I got there, Macintosh HD was grayed out and every time I tried to repair it, it says "cannot repair" and says to backup the files and stuff, but I I had a bit of a struggle with pointing iTunes to the new drive (also RAID1), it wouldn't take, kept reverting to old location. Shows you, can't even trust RAID1.
