up vote 28 down vote favorite 3 I have a VS 2005 web site that I publish using "Publish Web Site", and I clear all the three checkboxes. The file '/ayanovawbi/login.aspx' has not been pre-compiled, and cannot be requested. What happened to FN-1824? I personally believe this error is caused mainly due to missing references or incorrect versioning.

  • When I publish it Icheck "usefixed naming and single page assemblies" only.
  • Weird.
  • The .compiled file is there, and the assembly is there, and the type in question is present in that assembly (I can see it in Object Browser).

  • Look at the files under root directory, the contents of ASPX are something like “This is a marker file generated by the precompilation tool, and should not be deleted!”.

Complete recompile of the project did the trick for me. How do I handle this? Once I deleted that file, the site started working. This Is A Marker File Generated By The Precompilation Tool, And Should Not Be Deleted! After that my problem solved.
