Workgroup Is Not Accessible Windows Xp
In the command prompt, type in ping x.x.x.x or ping computername. I was able to find them while adding a network place but they still didn't show up in the network places folder. Thanks a million! At the present time, I have not installed Norton on the Dual Core and I have turned off the firewall, no help there. It was setup so that any computer could look at it for important files and so we only need to go to 1 place for information. Windows Xp Network Discovery That is very important.

I then created another new workgroup but it made no difference. This all worked fine with LinkSys. I installed a wireless router in my office and gave it the following configuration. It just seems like it "forgets" what i just had it do.
Mine was a wired environment, but had the same problem as wireless, because one machine is XP the other is Vista. However it is, it should work like what happened close to me.
